KazakhstanAgrometeorological and Drought ProductsThe National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan (RSE KAZHYDROMET) provides different kinds of forecasts (in Russian and English). It provides a 10-day brief agrometeorological review (in Russian and English). The Drought portal (in Russian) is a pilot project is designed to monitor and analyze the arid processes and drought in the country using the data received from satellite remote sensing of the Earth surface and the use of geographic information systems. A map application provides maps of different indicators including NDVI and VCI for the summer months (April - September) in the years 2000-2017. |
