City specific weather information is available, including Auckland weather, Christchurch weather or Wellington weather, there is also a comprehensive rural weather section. The National Climate Center (NCC) of the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA) produces a Climate Update bulletin which provides information on monthly rainfall, temperature, soil moisture, river flow, and seasonal outlooks.
