The US National Climatic Dat Center (NCDC), hosts the North American Drought Monitor website and coordinates the production of the NADM in partnership with the following institutions from: Canada, Agriculture and Agrifood Canada and the Environment Canada; Mexico, National Weather Service of Mexico and Mexican National Water Commission; United States US Department of Agriculture National Drought Mitigation Center, and the US National Weather Service. The NADM is a monthly map product that successfully integrates information from many parameters such as climate indices and indicators from a wide variety of sources to assess the severtiy and spatial extent drought in the United States.
