East AfricaMARS-Food Agromet Bulletin for East AfricaEuropean Commission - Joint Research Centre Latest East Africa MARS-Food Agromet Bulletin The MARS-Food (Monitoring Agriculture with Remore Sensing) Unit of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre produces a detailed agrometerological bulletin for East African countries every month. The bulletin provides crop-weather highlights, rainfall analysis, NDVI analysis, crop water requirements, and crop yield forecasts. There is a FTP bulletin archive since 2002 and MARS also produces bulletins for Europe, South and East Mediterranean, Russia and Central Asia, and Somalia (decadal).
